T & F SYSTEM SCAFFOLD can perform all scaffolding access requirements completely.

T & F SYSTEM SCAFFOLD works in combination with Tube & Fitting scaffold and can be mixed together on any projects, it could be used to simplify base settings in erection or dismantle of Tube & Fitting scaffolds , and once the base lift is complete they could then revert back to there original stock on the upper lifts.

T & F SYSTEM ledger tubes set out the length of bay sections 2 Sizes 1.815mm  1.140mm to accommodate for the advanced guardrail system, which is then installed up onto the ledger tube centre from a scaffolders safe zone (lower level) increasing safety for scaffolding operatives which creates a SAFER WORKING PRACTICE in the erection or dismantle of Tube & Fitting advanced guardrails.

T & F SYSTEM ledger Tubes improves the stability in Tube & Fitting scaffolding  structures. This is achieved  because the  front T & F SYSTEM ledger tube attachment to the upright standard is connected by a welded attachment not bolted like all the other Tube & Fitting types.

T & F SYSTEM transom tubes work with the T &  F  SYSTEM ledger tubes in setting out the width of the scaffold 3/4/5 boards , they increase the SWL in bay sections of Tube & Fitting scaffolds due to the transoms attachment to the upright standard tubes by 2 coupler fittings which sit directly on top of the ledger tube coupler fittings, 2 coupler fittings per corner of a  bay section .

Extendable inside transoms 1/2/3 boards can be inserted into the T & F SYSTEM transom tubes

Tube and Fitting System Scaffold Erect & Dismantle Manual

Step 1
Determine the highest point on the ground surface where the scaffold is required.
 

Step 2
Lay the ledger tube onto the ground surface with the lower fitting side resting at the highest point on the ground surface.
 

Step 3
Place base plates under the ledger tube fittings.
 

Step 4
Place the upright standard tube into the base plate on the upper fitting of the ledger tube side.
 

-- Scaff 1
Always hold the upright standard tube firmly in a level position.
 

Step 5

---Scaff 2
Lift the ledger tube level, leaving the lower fitting side resting at the highest point on the ground surface. Tighten the ledger tube fitting securely to the upright standard.
 

Step 6

-- Scaff 2
Place the transom tube on top of the ledger tube. Attach the transom tube to the upright standard tube and tighten securely at a 90-degree angle.
 

Step 7

-- Scaff 2
Insert a base plate under the transom tube and place the upright standard tube into the base plate.

-- Scaff 1
Holds both upright standards firmly in a level position.

-- Scaff 2
Levels the transom tube and tightens the fitting securely to the upright standard tube.
 

Step 8

-- Scaff 2
On the opposite ledger tube, ensure the lower fitting side heads in a different position from the other ledger tube. Tighten the lower fitting side under the transom tube securely at a 90-degree angle.
 

Step 9

-- Scaff 2
Place a base plate under the ledger tube and place the upright standard into the base plate.

-- Scaff 1
Holds the upright standard firmly in a level position.

-- Scaff 2
Levels the ledger tube and tightens the ledger tube fitting securely to the upright standard tube.
 

Step 10

-- Scaff 2
Place the upright standard into the highest point base plate.

-- Scaff 1
Holds both upright standards firmly in a level position.

-- Scaff 2
Tightens the ledger tube fitting securely to the upright standard tube.
 

Step 11

-- Scaff 2
Place the transom tube on top of the ledger tubes, attach the transom tube onto both upright standards, and tighten both sides of the transom securely to the upright standards.
 

Step 12

-- Scaff 1 &Scaff 2
Install the face brace and level the upright standard tube, tightening the fittings securely.
 

Step 13
Install the ledger tube level, ensuring the lower fitting side heads in the same direction as the underside ledger tube. Tighten the fittings securely.
 

Step 14
Install the raker tube and level the upright standard tube, tightening fittings securely.
 

Step 15
Install the transom tube on top of the ledger tube. Attach the transom tube onto both upright standards, level the transom tube, and tighten the fittings securely.
 

Step 16
Install the face brace and level the upright standard tube, tightening fittings securely.
 

Step 17
Install the ledger tube, ensuring the lower fitting side heads in the same direction as the underside ledger tube. Tighten the fittings securely to the upright standard tubes.
 

Step 18
Install the raker tube and level the upright standard tube, tightening fittings securely.
 

Step 19
Install the transom tube on top of the ledger tubes, tightening fittings securely.
 

Step 20
Open up the advanced guardrail system into the open position by removing the pin from the folded position and then placing it into the open position.
 

Step 21
Ensure the fittings are in an open position. Lift the guardrail up by holding one hand firmly under the bottom guardrail upright standard and the other hand on the upright guardrail fitting. Push the guardrail up with the fittings open against the upright standard tubes. Place the guardrail upright fitting onto the ledger tube center, keeping a firm hold with one hand and tightening with the other hand. Secure the fitting tight before releasing both hands.
 

Joining the Advanced Guardrail System
Use the same procedure, ensuring the lower guardrail fitting is pushed under the upper guardrail fitting.
 

Extra Bay Sections
Lift the ledger tube, ensuring the lower fitting side runs in the same direction as the attachment side. Tighten the ledger tube securely to the upright standard tube once the position is correct. Install the upright standard tube and level the ledger tube, tightening the fitting securely.
Repeat the process for installing and levelling the transom tube on top of the ledger tubes, tightening the transom tube securely on both sides.

Install and apply raker and bracing tubes in the same way you would in traditional tube and fitting settings to comply with SG4:22. The inside bracing tube on the base lift can be removed once the scaffold is set out.
